Shareholders are to note that elections this year will be confined to the Paga, Chiana, Kassena Nankana East and Bolgatanga zones.
Shareholders who wish to contest the elections must have a minimum of 18,000 shares and from the Zones with shareholding within 1981 to 2021. Shareholders who wish to contest the elections should contact the Board’s Secretary for nomination forms. The forms should be endorsed by a Nominator and a Seconder from the same Zone with shareholding within 1981 to 2021. Completed nomination forms should be submitted to the Secretary not later than 30th September, 2022.
QUALIFICATION AS A DIRECTOR
Directors shall posses, individually and collectively, appropriate experience, competencies and personal qualities, including professionalism and integrity. The competencies of Directors shall be diverse and shall cover a blend of following fields: Banking, Audit, Law Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Communication Technology, Entrepreneurship, Risk Management, Strategic Planning, Corporate Governance and other areas that the Bank of Ghana deems fit. Note: Shareholders are entreated to pick the audited accounts at their respective agencies of the Bank for the account details. All shareholders should endeavour to attend this very important meeting promptly and attendance shall be strictly by presentation of a share certificate.
